After a nice breakfast in Guemes we rode about 20k towards the Embarcadero de Somo, where we we had to take a ferry ride to Santander.
We got in at about 10am and had a few beers and café con leche in the main town after walking and seeing an outdoor art exhibit.
Riding towards Quevada another 40 Kilometers would finish a second stage for the day, we found a bike shop and each of us bought new gloves. After a long day of riding and already very tired we ended up getting a small albergue called Albergue Osa de Andara where the people lived above the building.
Only a couple of more pilgrims showed up. A German cyclist who was going back to Germany after visiting Santiago. The other pilgrim was walker.
It was a lot of riding today at first with a lot of elevation change as well as the extra 6k we did for getting lost.
