While most walking pilgrims stopped in Deba we decided to ride another stage mostly on the road, again we made it after stopping to eat our snacks on the road. Finally we reached Markina and got an albergue at the donativo we had bought a bottle of wine and had it with some cheese and bread we had saved from earlier purchases.
We sat at a small open space across our Albergue Lezama and ate while we watched people go by. It was a quiet town. In this albergue for the first time they had a clothe spin dryer that you put your wet clean laundry in and it rotates at a high speed to get all the water out, which made it a faster dry to be ready for the next day.
