The numbers above represent the days of the month
in June and July we were doing the Eurovelo 6
Picture
We spent the night in a small campground just of the Danube in the town of Melk, it is also a major stop for the river cruises as the Melk abbey is just a short walk from the River. In the morning after being awaken by the horn of the boats coming in as early as 6am, they would sound their horn as they came ashore, we left our campsite with all of our items and rode the short mile to the Abbey in the town.
We paid to get in , it was well worth the price as we walked in the Abbey for hours and followed the tours, lots of older people who had come in from the river boats. We wlked the gardens at the Abbey and saw lots of beautiful architecture. after the Abbey we went and had breakfast by the train station were we filled ourselves with bread, jellies and lots other items, We came back to this spot to take the train.

We took the train into Vienna, were we rented an apartment for 2 night. AT first we had a difficult time getting a hold of our host, so we found free wi-fi from a shelter and waited for the host to meet us and give us the key to the apartment. We shopped at a market around the corner from our stay , we ended up with lots of fruit and cooked dinner for our selves.
