The numbers above represent the days of the month in June and July we were doing the Eurovelo 6 |

We came into Giverny early, hoping to beat the river cruise crowds, it was nice getting into the side entrance for the pre-bought tickets, we parked our bikes up at the car park and walked into the gardens. Right away we were so impressed by the colors. I saw so much beauty, I had to settle myself down from just walking wildly, I looked over the complex and saw that there was a pattern that I had to follow to take it all in. Carmen and I walked along slowly , picked seeds when ever possible , we walked into the house before it got really busy, Slowly we walked from room to room , took lots of pictures. Then we walked into the gift shop, we bought a few items for gifts and then went out to the gardens to enjoy the design of the garden even more.
After the gardens we went out to the nearby restaurant just yards away, the whole village of Giverny is so pleasant, the temperature was just about perfect. Afterwards we walked to other galleries and took in the atmosphere.
On the way back to Vernon Carmen saw a small free library on the side of the road, we each got a book and we continued before stopping off at a store and bought some snacks and had a small lunch by the river, we passed again by the signs that hosted the Tour de France.
So much beauty everywhere, we took many seeds, we hope they will make it to have our own piece of Monet's garden in our garden.
AT the end of the day we had great wine, and many samples of cheeses with our host family, We were treated really well by our host family. We paid about $55 per night for our airbnb but were treated to a nice and filling breakfast every morning and at night sat with them and enjoyed wine and cheeses.
