The numbers above represent the days of the month
in June and July we were doing the Eurovelo 6
Picture
We made coffee while the family still slept in the airbnb we stayed at, left early in the morning to the town, we wanted to walk around calmly.

In reality Stein am Rhein is beautiful with all of their buildings in the center of town painted, and even when you go to the stores and eateries right on the Rhein they are very nice, but I think it's overly hyped. Tshere is very little to see and do outside just 2-3 streets, and not that long of streets at that , like in other cities where a touristy street can go on over half a mile.

We visited a few of the shops, one of them being a Clock shop, where there were many cuckoo clocks.  They reminded Carmen of Mr. Hernandez's clock that he would wind up when she visited.  We had a light lunch right on the river and enjoyed people watching, many tourist like us on bicycles, many our age, many with e-bikes. I am very impressed with the number of people our age riding their bikes along the rivers from Village to village.

In this town you also had the river cruises stop for the day and let out several hundred people out for the day to walk and enjoy the town. I keep on saying that the day may come  when Carmen and I will do such a cruise, and just enjoy simple two to three hour rides.
Carmen did mange to find a Swiss hat to bring back to Jessica who had asked for one. We also enjoyed riding along both sides of the river without our panniers.
