The numbers above represent the days of the month
in June and July we were doing the Eurovelo 6
Picture
After arriving at Charles De Gaulle airport and the slow lines at customs we went over and claimed our bikes, soon after we started to put the bikes together when an airport official came over to talk, she wanted to know more about our trip.

She herself a bike tour rider shared with us how she had done a trip with her disabled daughter and the desire to do more trips but her job kept her from doing so. We had a few onlookers as we assembled the bikes. Soon after we got Wi-Fi, bought our Museum passes and headed out to the RER train towards Paris.

The train going south into Paris was almost empty, we had our bike fully loaded and did not have to move much for anyone entering the train.

We took the train to the Gare de l'est to our host's flat on the 10th arrondissement. We found their flat right away, they left us a note to make our selves at home and cook if we needed to.

We decided to take an hour nap before heading out to see some of the sights, we walked to Isle de la Cite, Notre Dame, and the Shakespere and Company bookstore.  It was not the original Book Store as that one was not reopened after WW2.

When we went to eat, there was a group of demonstrators marching down the street.  Carmen ran out of the restaurant to take a picture of them and then took a picture of me inside with my first beer. It was nice to walk around the city, taking in all sights and the people walking around.
