Lisbon - Flight IAH - CDG-LIS

We left the house with about 4 hours to spare, took an Uber. Checking in with Air France, Carmen's suitcase was 1 kilo overweight and the agent was nice, he just asked us to remove items from her valise to my backpack. I think Carmen has overpacked, but she tells me that she will leave the clothing behind and buy new ones to come home. Since we were way early we went into the Air France Priority Lounge, we had some warm soups, meatballs and other small cheeses and meats , lots of Sparkling wine and a few sweets. 
Carmen posted her first Instagram telling her fans about our upcoming adventure. I made a mistake booking our seats, instead of booking side by side so we would be together, I should have left the middle seat open, since no one wants to be in the middle seat, so we did not have spread out space. This was one of the smoothest flights we have ever had. I did manage to sleep after a couple of crappy movies, Carmen tells me she did not sleep much
